She is an architect and architectural photographer from Turkey working locally and internationally.
After her working as an architect at various offices, she started to think about the relationship between architecture and photography with her master thesis on architectural photography (a hybrid method for evaluating architectural photography types). At the same time, she worked as a guest lecturer at different universities on the topic of architecture and photography.
In her photography, buildings are not architectural objects, they are living things with their own residents, climate, and environment. She is always looking to understand, discover, and reflect on the relationships between these living mechanisms and their artefacts.
Her photos have been featured on international platforms such as Archdaily, Architizer, Archello, Divisare, Arquine, and Dwars Magazine. She has been joined and conducted many workshops and competitions about architecture and photography. She continues to think and produce projects on architectural photography at studio hcrbzkrt.
