"UNFOLD" Organized by ATÖLYE and XXI Begins

The first of the UNFOLD event series, organized and collaboration with ATÖLYE and XXI, will take place on the theme "How is Artificial Intelligence Changing the Course of Design?"

The moderators of this first event of UNFOLD are Assistant Professor Derya Karadağ and Lecturer Betül Ozar, both from Işık University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. UNFOLD, where presentations and workshops will take place within the framework of different themes bi-monthly on Thursdays, aims to bring everyone from the design discipline together.

The first event, which will be held at ATÖLYE in Bomontiada on Thursday, December 08, 2022 at 19.00, focuses on the relationship between artificial intelligence, meaning and designer.

In the workshop, where the reality of the place, its layers and their semantic counterparts will be discussed through experience, Bomonti's identity will be evaluated through the collective consciousness. In this direction, the dialogue established with the space after the experience will be described with images produced through artificial intelligence. The collective production and semantic traces that emerged in the final stage will turn into Bomonti's instant narratives.
