Re-Imagining the Havana Home: Authentic Cuban Style Past, Present, and Future

Since 2010, Cuban-American Hermes Mallea, co-founder of (M)Group, has been working with a handful of Cuban photographers to document the city’s rich architectural patrimony that was interrupted by the Cuban Revolution of 1959. In this lecture, Mallea will take us behind the scenes to visit landmark houses constructed between 1860 and 1960 highlighted in his book Great Houses of Havana (Monacelli, 2011).
