Emirgan House
The project is located in a family house in Emirgan, Istanbul. It involves the design and the application of 3 major spaces in which kids’ & teen’ room and teen’ bathroom.
The project design aims to be used in childhood & adulthood periods with a fresh and comfortable spaces. On the other hand “being motivating and bond strengthing for utilization” was prioritised in the manner of daily habitats and aesthetics concerns for users.
The perception of space, calm colors and funny layers has been generally build for its users. The surfaces enriched and enlivened with different materials & layers. The restful and balmy colors has been used in several components for escaping monotomy. The all furnitures included in the rooms were custom made and designed by Salt.
The teen room has 3 different zones with dressing, working-resting area and sleeping area. These zones are connected by archways which creates fluid and spacious composition. The final touch with hidden led lights gathers the integrated multi layered, detailed surfaces. The strong timber work details with bright color palette expose a timeless furnitures.
Alive and characteristic teen’ bathroom has been designed with a dynamic perception. Colorful, simple yet neat.
No matter the kids room is not luminous at all, using bright colors and functional furniture design that creates a pleasant and modern bedroom makes the room balmy.
