Kevin P. Flanagan; AIA, FRAIC is a former Founding Partner at PLP Architecture in London and former Senior Associate Partner at KPF NY and Founding member of KPF London. He has won two Chicago Anthenium Awards for the Grant Thornton Tower in Chicago and for ADIA in Abu Dhabi. Kevin has studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London; Carleton University, Canada; University of Texas; and through Scholarship. His projects have included The Edge in Amsterdam, ULI and BREEAM Award/Most Sustainable/Best; and Oakwood Timber Tower, RIBA Award research with the University of Cambridge and Smith and Wallwork engineers.
After the meeting held as part of the Archi Design Timber Talks Series on November 1, 2021, at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Kevin P. Flanagan, the guest of the event, answered the questions of Demet Sürücü and Melek Elif Somer about the role of wooden structures in the future of cities.
