İhsan Bilgin

Bilgin is a professor at Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Architecture. He received both his MA and PhD from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) respectively in 1980 and in 1990 and became an associate professor in 1994 at Yıldız Technical University (YTU). He worked as a lecturer at YTU between 1982 and 2004. He founded the MArch Program in Architectural Design at Bilgi University in 2004 and worked as the coordinator of the program. His teaching and research focus on the history of housing and reconstruction in the modern era and architecture in 20th century.
